About Your Recovery Group

🌿 Your Recovery Group is a compassionate, holistic and evidence-based recovery provider offering a range of services designed to meet people where they are and guide them towards lasting recovery and wellness.

About us

Who We Are

Your Recovery Group was founded by a team of experienced professionals who share a deep commitment to supporting individuals and families affected by addiction, trauma, abuse, domestic violence, and involvement with the justice system.

Our multidisciplinary team — including therapists, facilitators, counsellors, case managers, and wellness practitioners — all have lived experience in one or more of these areas. This ensures our approach is not only professional but deeply empathetic and grounded in real understanding.

We focus on addressing the root causes of addiction, not just the symptoms. Rather than following a traditional Western medical model, we take a somatic and Eastern-based approach to healing — integrating practices such as 9D breathwork, mind-body therapies, and trauma-informed care. We ask not “why the addiction?” but “why the pain?” — creating a safe, supportive environment where true healing can begin.

Our Mission

At Your Recovery Group, our mission is to provide people with the opportunity to heal, grow, learn and reclaim their lives through compassionate, holistic, and evidence-based recovery support.

We understand that recovery is not a straight path — it’s a personal journey that requires care, courage, and community. That’s why every one of our programs is designed to meet people where they are and guide them towards long-term wellness, purpose, and stability.

We choose to move away from the Western medical model that often reduces individuals to a diagnosis. Instead, we look beyond labels to understand the symptoms and trauma beneath — treating each person as a whole human being deserving of love, patience, understanding, and compassion.

Our approach is rooted in mind-body-spirit healing, where clients are empowered to become their own healers. We simply walk beside them, offering guidance, tools, and support as they reconnect with their inner strength and wisdom.
